On 7 May 2020, still in South Africa and locked down for the Coronavirus, we began broadcasting 24/7, working through our extensive library of music, including, but not limited to Christian music. Here's the playlist for Lock down show 1. It takes a month. Share comments or ask questions at the foot of this page. We felt this might be pleasant for others around the world also in lockdown. We are unaware of other radio stations broadcasting both Christian and secular music. We do take a break once a day for a couple of hours in our evening here to catch up on TV news and watch entertainment on Showmax.
Good News in the Morning is broadcast on-line every Sunday from Ottawa. We broadcast archived shows going back to 2001. These classic programs presented by Allen Churchill are a first class source of apologetics. We did not podcast these since many of the podcasts are available on gncm.ca .
CWCP Radio is powered by the Galcom Xstreamer. The Galcom Xstreamer link below takes you to the Galcom Internet radio page. Our link will show up on the page whenever we are broadcasting.

We Copples were to move back to Canada - first from our home on March 30, then from South Africa on April 2nd, then from the UK on April 10th. However, due to the Corona virus we could not leave. Our flights were cancelled multiple times so we had to stay where we are. We are thankful to our landlords, who are allowing us to stay in our rented home longer - definitely in April, and perhaps longer. We will continue to broadcast as we can. Ironically, we were to return to Ottawa, Canada for breast cancer surgery but due to the corona virus, not only were our travel plans cancelled, but breast cancer surgeries were cancelled as well! We are thankful that L-A's tumour disappeared (according to the PET/CT scans taken March 11th, 2020).
past comments
Janey: I love love LOVED your broadcast (February 22)
Maggie: Really enjoyed it (February 22)
Shelley-Ann: Just want to say how much I enjoyed your podcast! It was like getting one of those letters from across the miles - the kinds that people used to put on tape and send along. I thoroughly enjoyed it all. (February 26)
Nano: The sound through your website is great over our computer speakers here in Ottawa. (March 2)
Lynn: As I listen to you interviewing the Rev. Jobling who runs Alpha South Africa, I am so pleased to have listened to L-A on her initial podcast re Ways to Grow in God. Loved hearing you speak to two students in the school and was very impressed listening to the principal. TG I’m now able to tune in. You and L-A have such beautifully clear voices with just the right intonation. It’s a real pleasure to listen. (March 1)
Diane: Enjoyed hearing your voices live from South Africa. Loved the variety and topics you presented and your ongoing reminder that God is central to us all, no matter where we live. Blessings to you and your ministry. (March 1)
-Enjoyed March 22 broadcast and children’s choir. Thank you both. (March 22)
Erena: I so enjoyed your broadcast last night. The music, your voices, messages.... all blessed me so much. Thank you. (March 22)
Andre: Janey and I just listened to your broadcast this evening. Also, yesterday we listened to your Wednesday broadcast for the first time. You really have the thing nicely balanced now. There is something for everyone in what you do. I was impressed with the programme on Wednesday [Good News in the Morning re-broadcasts]. The presenters are well read and have a reasoned approach. The one problem with some charismatic and Pentecostal church leaders and some members is a belief that they have nothing to learn from more traditional churches. We are all different people and different things appeal to us. You now have a very good balance – the Wednesday a good grounding and the Friday focusing on what is happening in the world around us.
Keep it up my friends! You’re doing a wonderful job! (March 22)
Joan: WOW Laurie-Ann and Tony! Your radio program is awesome! What talented, professional, anointed people! I encourage everyone to listen in to a real treat of Christian content from South Africa! GBU
Nano: I am enjoying your Copples in Western Cape Broadcasts. Your voice is a soothing sound to inspire me to get things done here at home (June 1).
Lise: Laurie-Ann, this is beautiful; and true thank you so much. You are a teacher to my heart and spirit. Will listen to my heart's content, thank you! Feels like just received a precious gift. (concerning the Ways to Grow in God devotionals) (July 2)
Kaysha: I had the pleasure of doing a short radio interview with a couple from our outstanding team here in South Africa Tony Copple and Laurie-Ann Copple. Go to the CWCP page on Coppleswesterncape.ca. Here, they share about the current way of life in the Western Cape and so much more! Thanks for listening! (August 8)
Carl: REALLY enjoyed your first podcast. I streamed it in the background, as I worked away on things. You have such great radio voices – calm, smooth and interesting. WOW. One constructive bit of criticism for you, Tony. At times, I wished you would use more open questions, so as to allow your interviewees a chance to expound (especially with children). That was it. Nothing major, just an observation that I noticed this once in a while. But my heavens, tremendous radio. What sound recording equipment do you use? What software do you use to piece your sound recordings together? Fascinating. Blessings on you both. Abundant, joyful, overflowing blessings.
Stephanie: She is one of Shelley-Ann Morris' friends, and she sent us a beautiful voice message, which we've uploaded below. Stephanie, the song you asked about is by David Newland, a folk musician and adventurer who lives in Coborg, Ontario. Thank you so much for your love!
Jeremy: Thank you so much for sharing the recording with me - you do put on a great program! I loved hearing the men singing the carols - and your message to them! What an incredibly wonderful ministry Tony!
Nano: (February 2019) Your voices are soothing and better company than most radio or podcasts that I have at hand. I used to listen to CBC radio while I work but the interview segments are becoming too left wing for my tastes. I recommend it to anyone. When I don't want to switch the dial as much I can pick up my i-pad and tune you in.
Maggie: Really enjoyed it (February 22)

Catch the Fire Toronto - (On our general ministry/Instagram): We just adore your account! Thank you for sharing your light and your work online. God bless you in all that you do! We pray for more blessings upon you. More of God's presence filling your life! Thanks CTF! You've always been such an encouragement to me (Laurie-Ann), since the late 80's.
Nano: (February 2020) Tony and Laurie-Ann Copple are making a difference in the back country of South Africa. They have faced enormous challenges and still come out encouraging others. I hope you enjoy this too (February 13 broadcast)
Sandy: (May 2020) I have really grown to appreciate L-A as she passes through her [health] ordeal. She has a great attitude in very trying circumstances, and is skilled in art and was very, very solid on the couple of [Ways to Grow in God] podcasts I heard her on.
