One third of the Riverview kids climbed into our car for a ride to the nearby gas station. How's that for family?
This club keeps us hopping on Wednesday afternoons. Before Tony and Laurie-Ann joined, the club was held indoors at the Chip Ross centre. When we joined in January 2018, we were in an outdoor courtyard, where we still remain in mid May. The weather is getting cooler, so we need to be indoors soon. We have singing, sharing time, fruit, cookies, juice and sometimes small jam sandwiches. Tony also teaches a music lesson to some of the children on recorders. Occasionally, we have a treat outing, like swimming, or hiking!
Tony and L-A lead music along with Dr Mella Davis, with leadership help from Soraya when she is able to come as translator. Other times we have other translators. These precious kids love to sing, shake L-A's shakers, and even Mella's bushwhackers.
In this picture, L-A is sharing about how God can change hearts of stone into hearts full of love when we forgive and allow God to heal us and use us. Then we shared Canadian maple candies as we told them where we are from. Soraya was a wonderful translator and has become a special friend of ours. L-A has also shared on soaking prayer, and the gospel in colours. Our friend Tanya has shared on prophetic drawing.
